Longines, Swiss, No. 55650, circa 1900. Very fine 18K gold hunting cased, moon phase astronomical, keyless minute repeating watch with double calendar, chronograph and instantaneous minute register.
C. Four body, massive, "bassine", polished. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Breguet numerals, outer Arabic, minute and chronograph rings, sunk subsidiary dials for the days of the week and dates, minute register and seconds with inner moon-phase aperture. Gold "spade hands. M. 19", nicket plated, "fausses cotes" decoration, 31 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Chronograph with visible work and push-piece in the band. Signed on the dial and case. In very good condition. Diam. 53 mm.
