Hri. Grandjean & Co., Swiss, No. 37419, made for C. Marks & Co. Bombay & Poona, circa 1880. Very fine 18I< gold hunting cased, moon phase astronomical, keyless, minute repeating watch with perpetual calendar.

C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", fully engraved with a floral and foliage decoration. Hinged gold cuvette, the border engraved with foliage. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, sunk subsidiary dials for the days of the week, the month with inner leap-year cycle, dates and subsidiary seconds with inner moon phase aperture. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. Glazed 20"' gilt brass, "fausses cotes" decoration, 31 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band.. Signed on the dial, and movement. Grandjeand signature inside the cover. In very good condition. Diam. 56 mm.
