C. Five body, "bassine", polished. Hinged gold cuvette with a concealed compartment for the automaton scene with hinged cover. Driven by the repeating train, a painted and enamelled couple in a boudoir is training for a body-building contest. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, red outer Arabic minute ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 19"', rhodium plated, "fausses cotes" decoration, 21 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. In very good condition. Diam. 53 mm.
