Fabrique G. Tribaudeau de Besancon, No. 73879, circa 1900. Fine 18K gold, hunting cased, keyless pocket chronometer, with chronograph and instantaneous 30 minute recorder. Bulletin de Deuxieme classe de 1'Observatoire National de Besancon.
C. Four body, massive, "bassine", polished. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with mention of the awarded Bulletin. D. White enamel with bolt Breguet numerals, outer Arabic minute and chronograph rings, sunk subsidiary seconds and minute register. Gold "spade" hands. M. 19"', gilt brass, three quarter plate with punch-mark in form of a viper's head set by the Observatory of Besancon, 23 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued steel balance spring with terminal curve. Chronograph with visible work, the button in the band. Signed on the cuvette. In very good condition. Diam. 50 mm.
