E. Giibelin, Lucerne, Swiss, No. 32202, circa 1911. Very fine 18K gold, keyless minute repeating watch with split-seconds chronograph and 30 minute progressive recorder, in original red leather fitted box.
C. Four body, massive, "demi-bassine", polished, the back engraved with the monogram "S.W.R..". Hinged gold cuvette engraved with a dedication dated Christmas 1911. D. White enamel with Breguet numerals, outer Arabic minute and chronograph rings, sunk subsidiary seconds and minute register. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 17"', rhodium plated, "fausses cotes" decoration, 33 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring with swan neck micrometric index. Minute repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Split-seconds chronograph with visible work, button on the winding crown and push piece in the band. Signed on the dial, case and movement. In very good condition. Diam. 48 mm.
