Jewel Watch, Geneva, No. 9023, case by Verger Freres No.12016, made for Van Cleef & Arpels, Paris, circa 1930. Fine and rare platinum, very slim keyless "montre a volets".
C. Rectangular, with thumb bars and sprung shutters, polished. Platinum cuvette. D. Satine silver with Arabic numerals. Blued steel "fancy Breguet" hands. M. 8 1/2"', rhodium plated, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring. Signed Van Cleef & Arpels on the dial, Verger Master mark on the case. In good condition. Dim. 40 x 38 mm.
