Very fine 18K gold, keyless minute repeating watch with chronograph and instantaneous 60 minute recorder. Bulletin de Premiere classe de l'Observatoire National de Besancon, awarded at the Timing Contest organised in 1914.

C.Three body, massive, "bassine", polished, the back engraved with initials "F.G.G." and "C.H.S.". Gold cuvette engraved with the mention of the First Class Bulletin. D. White enamel with Arabic numerals, outer minute and chronograph rings, sunk subsidiary seconds and minute register. M. 19"', gilt brass with punch-mark in form of a viper's head set by the Observatory of Besancon, 31 jewels, straight line lever escapement, brassinvar Guillaume balance, balance spring with terminal curve. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Chronograph with visible work and button on the winding crown. Signed on the dial, case and movement, numbered on the case and movement. In very good condition with copies of the timing contest records and of the Bulletin. Diam. 52 mm.
