Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", the gold band chased with foliage, silver back and cover chased in high relief with mask and inhabited foliage in the Renaissance style, the cover applied with a small gold monogram. Hinged gold cuvette. D. Silver with Gothic Roman numerals on a plane chapter ring, the centre engraved with a rosette in the Renaissance style. Blued steel "Romaines simples" hands. M. 18"', gilt brass, 21 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Signed on the cuvette. In very good condition. Dian. 48 mm.
