Three body, Louis XVI, the bezels with chased formal decoration, the back chased with gardening trophies, garlands and ribbons, opening on a secret compartment with a finely painted enamel scene depicting a young couple balancing to affection. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Gold Louis XV hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with conical pillar, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece. In very good condition. Diam. 42 mm.
