Bovet, Fleurier, No. 772, Swiss, made for the Chinese Market, circa 1830. Very fine 18K gold and enamel, centre seconds watch with special escapement.

Two body, bezels with red, pink and green champleve enamelled decoration, the pendant and bow with matching decoration, the back with multi coloured painted Summer flowers against a light blue ground. Hinged gold cuvette centered with the Bovet Chinese signature, the engine-turned border with a floral decoration. D. White enamel with Roman numerals. Gold "spade" hands. M. Gilt brass, "Chinese" calibre, fully engraved with a floral decoration, with free standing barrel, single wheel duplex escapement, the three-arm balance with wedge shaped and partly blued steel weights, flat balance spring and regulator. Signed on the movement. In very good condition. Diam. 58 mm.
