Notes

Very well executed, this model of escapement is an exhibition piece made to demonstrate the best quality of straight line lever escapement of the time. Bayley, Banks & Biddle, being the agent for Patek Philippe in Philadelphia, this demonstration escapement due to its quality, was almost certainly made in the Patek Philippe workshop.
