Girod a Copet, Swiss, circa 1700. Fine and rare silver Louis XIV Oignon with single hand and central winding.
C. Double body, polished. D. White enamel with Roman numerals (restored). Later blued steel single hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with Egyptian pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain steel three-arm balance, short flat balance spring, gilt brass cock applied with a fine enamel plaque, painted with a lady's portrait on a black ground in the manner of the Huaud's workshop. Signed on the back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 57 mm.
