Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", red enamelled bands with paillonne decoration, splitpearl set bezels, the covers with a painted scenes depicting a loving couple in a garden, outer translucent red enamel over engine-turning. The backs with a portrait of a young lady. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer minute ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold Louis XV hands. M. Glazed 13"', gilt brass, 29 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement with cut bimetallic balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band.
