Unsigned, Swiss, circa 1780. Very fine and rare 18K multi-coloured gold diamond-set, oval snuff-box with a built-in watch.

C.Three body, the lid with glazed dial and balance aperture, chased with two Cherubs, doves and garlands of flowers over a matted ground, rose-cut diamond set bezels. Band and bottom panels, decorated en suite with trophies of love and music with further hatched and garland decoration. D. Flanked on each side of the balance aperture, mall eccentric white enamel dial with Roman numerals and outer minute ring, and subsidiary seconds. Rose-cut diamond set hands. M. Shaped and located within the cover in a special compartment, gilt brass full plate inverted, the dial-plate engraved with decoration and pierced on the border. Going barrel, cylinder escapement, three-arm balance with rose-cut diamond set rim, applied over a blued steel ground, flat balance spring. In very good condition. Dim. 78 x 45 x 38 mm.
