C. Three-body, ?bassine?, polished, hinged and sprung front cover with red and blue champleve guilloche enamel monogram ?V & A?, back cover opening to reveal the calendar. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and Arabic five minute numerals, subsidiary seconds. Calendar dial: white enamel, annular, outer date ring and inner ring for the days of the week. Gold ?spade? hands. M. 19???, nickel, ?fausses cotes? decoration, 18 jewels, 2 in scrued gold châtons, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance, index regulator, the calendar star-wheels geared to the centre-wheel. Diam. 51 mm.
