?Carillon Minute Repeating ? Three Hammers? Henry Capt, Genève, L. Gallopin & Cie, Sucrs. No. 41787. Made circa 1890. Very fine and very rare carillon minute-repeating, 18K gold, astronomical huntingcased keyless pocket watch with perpetual calendar, moon phase and lunar calendar.

C. Four-body, "bassine et filets", polished, with engraved initials within a cenrtral cartouche. Gold hinged cuvette. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track with five-minute Arabic numerals, four subsidiary dials for days of the week, date, months concentric with leap-year cycle and small seconds, aperture at 12 o'clock for phases of the moon with a scale for the moon?s age. Black steel "spade" hands. M. 18```, maillechort, "fausses côtes" decoration, 31 jewels, straight line counterpoised and calibrated lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance-spring, index regulator, carillon repeating with three hammers on three gongs activated by a slide in the band. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 52 mm.
