?Very Thin? Courvoisier Freres, No. 12098. Made circa 1820. Very fine, very thin, 18K gold pocket watch with gilded polychrome enamel dial.
C. Two-body, ?bassine?, engine turned. D. Small, white enamel with dauphine Arabic numerals, outer minute track, outer border finely decorated with pastel pink, blue and green enamel panels painted with gilt flowers and leaves, black edging. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 49 mm., full plate, frosted gilt, standing barrel, cylinder escapement, three-arm steel balance, blued steel flat balance spring, shaped and pierced steel cock with two screws, index regulator. Dial signed, the reverse inscribed ?No. 1? and with illegible signature? ******d?. Diam. 55 mm.
