?L?heure à la Seconde? Mido, Switzerland. Made circa 1960. Fine and rare 3-day going dead-center seconds brass shop timepiece with stop feature.
C. Rectangular inclined brass with black ornaments to the sides, aperture to the case back to view the escapement. D. Two-tone silver with applied gold baton indexes and gilt radial Roman quarters, inner minute track with five minute arabic marquers. Yellow gold ?Alpha? hands. M. Rhodium plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 24 jewels, three adjustments, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 23.5 cm x 19.5 cm x 7.5 cms.
