?Longines Anniversary Set? A fine and rare commemorative set of 3 Longines wristwatches originally produced by Longines in 1915, 1925 and 1930. This set, No. 717/1000, is a re-edition made in 1997 to commemorate the 130th anniversary of the manufacturer and the 165th celebration of their horological activities. Made in a limited edition of 1000 sets. Accompanied by a wooden fitted box and certificates.

Longines, Ref. L 7 881 4, No. 0717/1000. Fine, large, center-seconds, self-winding, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch.

C. Two-body, brushed, hinged transparent case back with engraved Longines logo, rounded bezel, concave lugs. D. White enamel with painted black Arabic numerals, red 12, subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel ?spade? hands. M. Cal. 2895-1, rhodium- plated, "fausses côtes" and "oeil-de-perdrix" decoration, 30 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance, shockabsorber, self-compensating flat balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 40 mm. Thickness 12 mm.
