"Lindbergh - Hour Angle Watch? Longines, "Lindbergh - Hour Angle Watch?, No. 5/10, replica of the famous navigator's watch, invented by Col. Chas. A. Lindbergh and Longines in 1927, US Pat. 1923305. Produced in a limited edition of 10 examples in 1987, to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Lindbergh's first flight over the Atlantic Ocean in 1927. Fine and rare, hour-angle, center-seconds, 18K yellow gold aviator's wristwatch. Accompanied by its original certificate.

Four-body, solid, polished and brushed, hinged case back with dedication inside, revolving ridged bezel with enameled 15 degree graduations, graduated case band, the ball-shaped crown also activates the revolving central dial, the pusher on the band allows hand setting. D. White enamel with black enameled Roman numeral for the 12-hour indication, concentric, the 180 degrees in Arabic numerals, at the center, revolving satin silver dial with painted black Arabic numerals for the 60 minutes and red Arabic numerals for the 15 degrees. Black "Breguet" hands. M. Cal. L 628.1, rhodium-plated, ?oeil-de-perdrix? decoration, 21 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring, micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 37 mm. Thickness 9 mm.
