?12-Hour Recorder? Eduard Koehn, Genève, No. 78414, made for Tiffany & Co. New York circa 1905. Very fine 18K gold, keyless 5- minute-repeating dress watch with splitseconds chronograph and instantaneous 60-minute register.
C. Four-body, ?bassine?, polished, case back with monogram ?JM?, gold hinged cuvette. D. White enamel, Breguet numerals, outer minute divisions, outermost chronograph track divided into fifths, register at 12, subsidiary sunk seconds at 6. Blued steel ?spade?hands. M. 37 mm (17'''), 38 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, Breguet balance spring, ?swan-neck? micrometric regulator, Koehn patented chronograph mechanism (Patent CH24118, 4th of July 1901), repeating on gongs through activating slide in the band. Dial, case, and movement signed by the retailer. Diam. 46 mm.
