Gon. Pl. Blondet a Geneve, circa 1790. Very fine 18 ct. gold and enamel paste-set watch in a glazed protecting case.

Double body, Louis XVI, with paste-set bezels, the back with a fine painted enamel scene of a young lady with a child, in a garden, framed with a paste-set paillone decoration over a blue ground (few stones lacking). Glazed gilt brass protecting case. D. White enamel with Roman numerals. Silver fancy hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece. Signed on the dial. In very good condition. Diam. 58 mm.
