Double body, Directoire, the bezels with a paillone floral decoration on a blue ground, the back with a young couple paying tribute to the altar of Love, painted on a blue translucent enamel over engine-turning (slightly scratched). D. White enamel with Roman numerals. Gold skeletonised hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece. Signed on the dial and back plate. In very good condition. Dian. 50 mm.
