Unsigned, Swiss, made for the Chinese Market, circa 1890. Fine 18 ct. gold and enamel hunting cased, pearl-set keyless minute repeating fob watch.

Four body, "bassine et filets" with reeded band and split-pearl set bezels, the cover panel of blue enamel over engine-turning, painted with a pastoral scene depicting a loving couple in a garden, a lamb on their knees. Back panel of blue enamel over engine-turning. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with technical details and decorated with medals awarded in various exhibitions. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring, sunk centre and subsidiary seconds. Gold "Louis XV" hands. M. 13"', gilt brass, 28 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. In very good condition. Diam. 39 mm.
