H.R. Ekegren, Geneve, No. 17380, circa 1890. Very fine 18 ct. pink gold hunting cased, moon phase astronomical, minute repeating, keyless lever watch with perpetual calendar.
C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets" with bevelled band, cover and back chased with musical instruments, wreath of foliage and further floral decoration. Hinged glazed gold cuvette with milled bezel. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, sunk subsidiary dials for months with inner red leap year cycle, dates, days of the week and seconds with moon phase aperture. Blued steel "spade hands. M. 19"', nickel plated, "fausses cotes" decoration, 31 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Signed on the dial. In very good condition. Diam. 58 mm.
