Ecole d'Horlogerie de la Vallee de Joux, masterpiece made by Eric Rochat, Les Bioux, from 1939 to 1943. Very fine 18 ct. gold moon phase astronomical keyless watch with perpetual calendar and split seconds chronograph, tachometer and 30 minute instantaneous recorder, in original fitted box.

C. Three piece, massive, "variee" with bevelled bezels, polished and satine, the back engraved with the inscription: Ecole d'Horlogerie, 1939-1943, Eric Rochat, Les Bioux.. D. Silvered two tone, with applied gold indexes, outer Arabic minute and chronograph ring, tachometer scale for 1000 metres, subsidiary dials for days of the week, the months for the leap year cycle with outer minute register, the dates and the seconds with inner moon-phase aperture. Gold "batons" hands. M. 18 "', rhodium plated, "fausses cotes" decoration, 24 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring with swan neck micrometric index. Split seconds chronograph with visible work, button on the winding crown and push piece in the band. Signed on the back. In very good condition. Diam. 55 mm.
