L. Leroy & Cie. (Paris), No. 30 CXVI, made in 1927. Very fine, elegant and rare 18 ct. bicoloured gold keyless pocket chronometer with Bulletin de Premiere Classe de 1'Observatoire National de Besancon No 14332, awarded a silver medal with 209,7 points at the timing contest.

C. Three piece, "Empire", polished with reeded band, white gold rims and bow . Hinged gold cuvette. D. Gold engine-turned, with Roman numerals on a polished chapter, and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 17"', gilt brass, 21 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance adjusted by A. Jaccard, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the movement, numbered on the cuvette. In excellent condition, with photocopies of the timing certificate. Diam. 50 mm.

Very fine example of a watch of the best quality, produced by L. Leroy & Cie. in the "Vieux style", in the 1920's.
