Not signed, French, circa 1775. Very fine and rare, gilt brass early small, hour and half hour striking travelling clock with pull wind alarm, in original travelling fitted box.
C. Rectangular with bun feet, glazed side panels, gilt brass front and back panels engraved with a floral trellis pattern, small half moon sector above the dial for the regulator. Handle above the top bell beneath strap and four ball finials. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Gilt brass Louis XV hands. M. Brass rectangular, going train with fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance and flat balance spring. Hour and half hour striking on the top bell, the striking train with going barrel. Pull wind alarm train. In very good condition. Dim. 87 mm. high excluding the handle.
