C. Double body Louis XVI, by Joly (Master mark) polished with concealed hinge. Hinged gilt brass cuvette. D. White enamel with Arabic numerals and outer minute and seconds ring. Gold Breguet hands with skeletonised tips. M. Gilt brass, true Lepine calibre with free standing barrel, cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring with regulator. Locking balance lever on the cuvette border. Signed on the dial and cuvette. h1 good condition. Diam. 54 mm.

Notes

Centre second stop watches by Jean Antoine Lepine are fairly rare as opposed to the regular quarter repeating ones. This appears to be a good example with the typical plain case with fixed bezel and concealed hinges.
