Gustave, Ami Sandoz & Fils, No. 79125, circa 1860, fitted with a keyless winding by Gustave Sandoz in 1896. Fine 18 ct. gold pair cased "cabriolet" pocket chronometer.

C. Outer three body massive, "demi-bassine", engraved with foliage in an interlaced pattern. Inner four body massive, bassine, the engraving matching that of the outer case. Hinged gold cuvette with engine-turned border. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel fancy hands. M. 18"' gilt brass, bar calibre with going barrel, later custom made special keyless winding, 14 jewels, pivoted detent escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the dial and cuvette. In very condition. Dian. 53 mm.
