Verger, France, No. 3118, made for Spaulding & Co., circa 1915. Fine 18 ct. gold and enamel, octagonal diamond set, keyless, Art-Deco pendant watch with matching chain.

Two piece, massive, octagonal with Verger Master mark, bezel and back of translucent greyblue enamel over engine-turning, darker borders with white painted formal decoration, the back centred with a fine enamel scene of Muses in antique dresses, dancing with Cupid, painted in white in a Wedgewood style decoration, within an octagonal rose-cut diamond frame, diamond-set loose-ring pendant. D. Matt silver with Breguet numerals. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 9"', nickel plated, "fausses cotes" decoration, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance adjusted in five positions, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the case and movement. In very good condition. Diam. 32 mm.
