C. Four body, massive, "Louis XV - gouge", polished. Hinged gold cuvette . D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold "Louis XV" hands. M. 18"', gilt brass, 29 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. In very good condition. Diam. 51 mm.
