Jules Jorgensen, Copenhagen No. 11378, Swiss, circa 1890. Very fine and heavy 18 ct. gold hunting cased, minute-repeating keyless watch.

C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", engine-turened with reeded band the reverse of the cover and back engine-turned as well. Hinged gold cuvette with engine-turned border. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 20"', nickel plated, "spotted" decoration, 32 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring with swan neck micrometric index. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Special hand-setting by the folding bow, patented by Jules Jorgensen, 15 January, 1867. Signed on the dial and movement. In very good condition. Diam. 57 mm.
