Jump, London, with London hallmarks for 1893. Very rare and fine silver "hump-back" moon phase astronomical carriage clock with double calendar, in original fitted travelling case.

C. One piece, polished, the back with winding shutter. Four bun feet, silver chain handle. D. Engine-turned gilt plate, the circular engine-turned silver dial with Roman numerals on a polished chapter ring, inner moon-phase aperture and small subsidiary seconds below chapter "XII", subsidiary days of the week and dates below the dial. Gold Breguet hands. M. Shaped brass plates with turned pillars, fusee with chain and maintaining power, Horizontal gilt platform with English lateral pointed tooth lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with gold timing screws, blued steel balance spring with terminal curve. Signed on a small gold plaque screwed on the dial plate. In very good condition with original silver ratchet key. Dim. 160 x 115 x 75 mm.
