Aubert & Klaftenberger a Geneve, French, made for the Swiss Market, circa 1840. Fine gilt bronze, small hour and half-hour striking and repeating carriage clock with alarm.

C. Gilt bronze "one-piece", fully engraved with foliage decoration, glazed four faces and top. D. White enamel with Roman numerals. Blued steel "trefle". M. Brass rectangular with going barrels both on the going and the striking train, platform escapement with lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued steel flat balance spring and regulator. Striking and repeating on a bell with button on the top. Signed on the dial and movement. In very good condition. Dim. 10 x 6.5 x 5 cm, excluding the handle.
