Unsigned, Paris, No. 28294, circa 1890. Fine gilt and silvered bronze, eight day going, Grande and Petite Sonnerie, quarter repeating carriage clock with alarm.

C. Gilt bronze "Anglaise Riche", with silvered base, glazed on four sides and silvered top. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Blued steel "spade" hands. Gilt brass dial plate engraved with scrolled foliage. M. Brass rectangular with going barrels both on the going and the striking train, platform escapement with straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued steel flat balance spring and regulator. Striking, repeating and alarm on gongs with button on the top and Grande/Petite Sonnerie - Strike/Silent lever on the base. In very good condition. Dim. 16 x 10 x 9 cm, excluding the handle.
