Bordier a Geneve, No. 38653, circa 1790. Fine 18 ct. gold and enamel watch in a glazed protecting case.

Double body, Directoire, bezels with champleve foliage decoration over a white enamel ground, the back painted with a scene depicting a young couple lazing in a garden, outer foliage decoration over a blue ground. Gilt brass glazed protecting case. D. White enamel with Arabic numerals. Blued steel hands with gold tips. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate, thin calibre with the fusee and barrel passing through the back plate, secured by a semi-circular plate, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass small continental cock with garnet end-stone. Signed on the dial and back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 62 mm.
