?Music and Flower Chatelaine? Chaudé, Horloger de la Marine de l?Etat, 35 Palais Royal, Paris, No. 6375. Made circa 1880. Fine, vari-coloured 18K gold, keyless, Louis XV style, lady?s pendant watch with chatelaine and the original fitted velvet-lined leather-covered box.
C. Four-body, ?Louis XV?, chased stiff-leaf bezel, polished band, the back cover with applied relief decoration of a basket of flowers and a bird on a matted ground, matching chatelaine with vari-colored flower and trophy decoration. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and red painted five minute numerals. Gold ?Louis XV? hands. M. 11???, frosted gilt, bar caliber, 15 jewels, wolf?s tooth winding, cylinder escapement, plain three-arm flat-rim balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Cuvette signed. Diam. 31 mm.
