?Pin Wheel Escapement? Joseph Feune a Delemont (Jura, Switzerland), case No. 18633. Made circa 1815. Fine and very rare, silver, pocket watch with pin wheel escapement.
C. Four-body, ?Empire?, polished, reeded band. Hinged gilt brass cuvette. D. White enamel with Breguet numerals, outer minute divisions, winding aperture at 2 o?clock. Pierced gold hands. M. 50 mm., frosted gilt brass, skeletonized back plate, standing barrel, three wheel train with five-spoke wheels, pin wheel escapement with two rows of equidistant vertical pins upon the upper surface of the escape wheel, elongated steel lever engaging with a single locking pin on the balance staff, plain brass three-arm balance, blued steel flat balance spring, polished steel endplate, index regulator. Cuvette and movement signed. Diam. 56 mm.
