Rack Lever? Morris Tobias, London, Patent, No. 1017. The case by William Mean with London hallmarks for 1813-14. Fine and rare, silver pair-cased pocket watch with rack lever escapement.
C. Outer: two-body, polished. Inner, two-body, ?bassine?, polished, gilt brass dust cap. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary 15-second dial. Gold ?spade? hands. M. 44 mm, hinged, frosted gilt full-plate with cylindrical pillars, jeweled to the third, fusee and chain, Harrison's maintaining power, rack lever escapement with large brass escape wheel, three-arm steel flat-rim balance with flat balance spring, diamond endstone, single-footed cock.
