Gallet & Cie, Swiss, "Chronograph", case No. 56891. Made in the 1930s. Unusual, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with oval shaped button chronograph, register, tachometer and telemeter.
C. Three-body, polished and brushed, concave bezel. D. Matte silver with subsidiary dials for the hours and minutes at 12 and the 30-minute register at 6, outer 1/5th seconds scale and telemeter graduation, at the center, spiral tachometric scale. Blued steel ?epée? hands. M. Cal. 12 1/2''', rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, flat balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 34 mm. Thickness: 11 mm.
