Rectangular gold case, with black champlevé enamelled decorations, flanked by rectangular stepped lapis lazuli panels secured by ruby cabochon-set screws, lapis lazuli base and top, and silver engine-turned dial with Roman numerals on a plain chapter ring, with blued steel bands. Rectangular rhodium plated movement, with "striped" decoration, going barrel, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance and Breguet balance spring. Measuring approx. 60 x 50 x 30 mm. Cartier Certificate of Authenticity N° 2286.
