Rectangular gold case with black champlevé enamelled decoration with an engraved striped pattern, the face opening by two shutters centrally decorated with a small rose-cut diamond-set platinum square, revealing the three sections gold and enamel Roman chapter ring with engineturned center, and blued steel hands, matching doors on the back open on the winding squares, onyx base and pediment with bevelled gold borders. Rectangular rhodium plated movement, with "striped" decoration, going barrel, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance and Breguet balance spring. Measuring approx. 49 x 35 x 29 mm. Accompanied by original fitted leather box. Cartier Certificate of Authenticity N° 2289.
