Designed as a square gold folding alarm travelling dock, satine cover and back with polished bevelled borders, matted square silver dial with Roman numerals and blued steel "Breguet" hands. Rhodium plated, 11'" movement, "fausses côtes" decoration, 21 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance adjusted to temperature and 6 positions, Breguet balance spring. Measuring approx. 40 x 40 mm. Cartier Certificate of Authenticity N° 2324.

Among the various purse watches produced by Cartier,
this one is extremely rare, as it is the only type to be fitted
with an 8 day going movement. At this time, such small
movements were almost exclusively produced for
wristwatches, which were, and still are, extremely rare.
