Oval gold cased, bright polished with bevelled borders, the back engraved with a sun-dial with hinged gold gnomon and inset subsidiary compass, the front engine-turned in a basket work pattern, the eccentric matted silver dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands. Rhodium plated, 9"' movement, "fausses côtes" decoration, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, adjusted for temperature isochronism and 3 positions, self compensating balance spring. Measuring approx. 49 x 33 mm. Cartier Certificate of Authenticity N° 2475.
