Platinum polished case with milled bezel and sapphire-set band and bow, the matted silver dial with Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds and blued steel "spade" hands. Rhodium plated, 14"' movement, 29 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, 8 adjustments, Breguet balance spring. Minute repeating on gongs with bezel winding. Measuring approx. 42 mm. in diam. Accompanied by fitted leather box. Cartier Certificate of Authenticity N° 2093.

This type of minute repeating watch was invented to protect the movement from dampness and dust. Due to the great difficulty to produce them, only few watches of this type were macle and even fewer remain.
