Four-body, "bassine et filets", geometric enameled band, the front cover decorated with the portrait of a lady on a translucent red enamel over wavy engine-turned ground, the back painted with a scene of a courting couple in a rural landscape, translucent red enamel border over a wavy engine-turned ground, split pearl-set bezels. Hinged gold cuvette over glazed bezel for viewing the movement. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Gold ?Louis XV" hands. M. 30 mm, frosted gilt, 23 jewels, calibrated straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide in the band. Diam. 39 mm.
