?Miniature Clock? L. Leroy & Cie., a Paris, 7, Boul(evar)d de la Madeleine, No. 16667. Made circa 1900. Very fine, eight day going, miniature carriage timepiece designed in the manner of an early 19th century Pendule d'Officier with the original gold-tooled morocco traveling case and a key.
C. Gilt bronze, ?Pendule d'Officier? with paw feet, laurel handle and pierced trellis side frets, hinged back door. D. White enamel with Arabic numerals, blue flower and gilt dot half-hour markers, outer minute track with gold dot ten-minute markers and Arabic quarterhour numerals. Gilt brass pierced hands. M. 45 x 38 mm., brass, rectangular, with going barrel, platform lateral lever escapement with cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 108 x 55 x 38 mm.
