Notes

The ?Ermeto? watch by Movado was developed by Huguenin Frères, Le Locle, and patented in Germany on October 12, 1926, DRP No. 443 555. The origin is from the Greek language, and means ?sealed?. This watch, accordingly, is shock-resistant against external influences. A similar watch is published in ?The Movado History?, by F.V. Osterhausen, p. 79.
