"Royal Blue" Baszanger, Genève, No. 7454. Made circa 1930. Fine, thin, 18K gold and enamel keyless dress pocket watch.

Four-body, "bassine", polished, the bezel overlaid with royal blue guilloché enamel, the back cover overlaid with royal blue translucent enamel over a wavy sun-ray ground, white enamel border, the center with a polished gold disc. Hinged gold cuvette. D. Brushed gilt with applied gold Roman and baton indexes, painted minute track, large subsidiary seconds. Gold "spade" hands. M. 17 1/2''', thin, frosted gilt, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, index regulator. Dial signed. Diam. 48 mm.
